. partly cloudy skies across the bay. dealing with fog once again over the north bay. santa rosa reporting fog this morning. visibility down to a quarter mile. cooling off to our dew point once again to parts of our north bay valley locations. we continue with this system offshore. you can see it here in the satellite radar. look at that spin. it really hasn't moved a whole lot. we don't expect it will from monday into tuesday as it does edge a little closer it will bring the possibility of a few scattered showers. today a little change in the forecast. some slightly warmer this morning. some slightly cooler with the clouds overhead in santa rosa. yesterday we had slipped back in the 40s. if you had been watching. here's our timeline into tuesday. that slight chance for some rain it looks like it will last into wednesday. this system will be moving along parallel to the coast as it progresses south and east. even a look at the forecast we will pick it upright about tuesday morning. we have scattered showers remaining off the coastline. we are a little cloudier. by tuesday night this wrap a

satellite and radar image. you see the clouds will begin to build in to the santa rosa area in the overnight hours. we have the offshore flow continuing for the most part. what's happening is we have an area of low pressure and it's just mixing up that marine layer along the immediate seashore. what does that mean for that right there the hardly strictly bluegrass at golden gate park? 61 degrees were a combination of sun and clouds. now, tomorrow meanwhile temperatures are going down in comparison to today because we have the influx of that cloud cover from the trough that's just lurking offshore. 50s at the beaches, 60s across the bay, 70s los altos, 74 degrees in morgan hill and upper 60s in fremont, union city and milpitas. these are some of the warmest temperatures east of the bay inland. 75 degrees in brentwood five degrees below normal for this time of the year. 72 degrees in dublin. and the winds will be relatively flat until late day beginning to pick up out of the west 10 to 20. low 70s in santa rosa for a high and 60 in san fran

at this hour in redwood city and in livermore. 66 in santa rosa. it is currently 63 degrees in san francisco. the winds have picked up out of the west. the sun is setting. official sundown 6:46. for the most part clear skies, a few clouds trying to obscure the sunset there. meanwhile with the clouds building overnight setting the stage for a partly sunny day tomorrow and much cooler day and then that extended forecast does a chance of showers in your forecast. tonight overnight, number-wise into the 40s and 50s. 40s now getting out that extra blanket. now, we do have this area of low pressure. it's a trough. and you can see it meandering right there off the california coast. and as it continues its circulation in a counterclockwise fashion, it's mixing up our marine layer and that's why we had the abundance of sunshine at the coast today while interior areas had a filter of sun and clouds. now, this is interesting. you can play along at home by watching the clock tick on by. you see the cloud deck build back up again as that area of low pressure gets closer and closer to the bay area. so we

this morning. clear in los gatos with 48 degrees. we will start out with a few clouds from santa rosa, hayward, sfo this morning. otherwise lots of sunshine, some high clouds and the shower chances now midday tuesday, into wednesday and we are only talking 20, 30% chance, mainly in the higher elevations as the area of low pressure will sink south, stay far away from the bay area and, in fact, right now it continues to spin and from time to time we are looking at some mid-level clouds. but really not until it makes the move south and east. so as for today, that still makes for a really nice afternoon. so we will call it mostly sunny. a few clouds around. but certainly by monday and taking the shower chances out and then by tuesday, looks like we will see some of the clouds and a little bit of moisture sweep up into southern california, also the central coast, the south bay, perhaps the higher east bay hills and then into thursday. after this it continues to sink south and we will just be on the back edge of it and not expecting any weather systems are in the latter part of the work week. but by

are looking at low 50s and the clouds in santa rosa and napa this morning. this afternoon partly cloudy conditions. the system offshore continues to bring the slightly cooler-than-average temperatures our way for the next several days but we continue to back off on the rain chances tomorrow, bringing them in just a slight chance tuesday and wednesday. and then the system sinks south. here it is. you will notice offshore once again ting to spin counter clockwise. and with that we are looking at the fairly uniform temperatures, a few clouds around so a mix out there. and as the low gets a little closer, we are talking midday to late tuesday, into wednesday. overnight higher elevations, just a slight chance of showers. that includes the mountains, the sierra nevada, and temperatures will be coming down a little bit on tuesday with increase of clouds. so the hardly strictly bluegrass with a few clouds around. low 60s. another nice afternoon in golden gate park and closer to the embarcadero and on the water we are looking at mild numbers. low to mid-60s there. repeat performance of yesterday
